Younes Belamine is a Moroccan visual artist born in 1996 in Casablanca, Morocco, from a family of artists. His father, Abdelkrim Belamine, is a renowned painter trained at the Tetouan School of Fine Arts, and his grandfather was a master craftsman who contributed to major works, including the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.
From a young age, Younes was introduced to art in his father's studio. He pursued business studies at EMLYON Business School in Paris, while developing his artistic passion. He also completed internships at the Paris School of Fine Arts, further enriching his artistic training.
His artistic style is characterized by a fusion of tradition and modernity, incorporating geometric forms inspired by traditional Islamic art. His works, primarily made in acrylic, reflect deep socio-cultural concerns and demonstrate notable technical mastery.
